EMPLOYEE RETENTION CREDIT (ERC)

Federal aid for small to medium-sized businesses up to $26,000 per employee
The Employee Retention Credit (ERC) is a program under the CARES Act(Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act) designed to provide federal aid for businesses affected by COVID lockdowns by encouraging employers to keep employees on their payroll. The ERC is an extremely valuable credit and cash payment meant to help businesses withstand the impact of COVID related government orders.

The Employee Retention Credit is a refundable tax credit of up to $5,000 for 2020 and $7,000 per quarter for the first 3 quarters of 2021 for a total of up to $26,000 per employee. Restaurants, medical offices, theaters, manufacturers, non-profit organizations, and many other businesses are eligible. Unlike conventional tax credits, a refundable credit does not require a liability to offset. Refundable credits are equivalent to cash.

We are working with hundreds of businesses in identifying and claiming their ERC. Contact us today so we can assist your business in claiming your credits.
